What this site does not do
This site sets no cookies. It uses no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracking tool. It never attempts to identify someone who is simply reading the pages, and it buys no data about its visitors.
The information I collect
I only collect personal information when you give it to me voluntarily.
| Situation | Information | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You write to me through the question form | Your question, your name, your region, and the contact detail you leave | To reply to you. The message reaches me by email. |
| You request the free extract | Your email address, your first name if you give it, the date and your consent | To send you the extract and, occasionally, preparedness advice. |
| You book the free assessment | Name, email, phone and time slot | To hold the appointment. This information is collected by Square, not by this site. |
Audience measurement
I measure traffic with a tool I host myself, on my own server. No data is passed to a third party. What is recorded cannot identify you:
- the date and time of the visit;
- the page viewed;
- the product code of any link that was clicked;
- the domain name you arrived from, without the full address;
- whether the device is a phone or a computer.
No IP address is kept, no identifier is assigned, and it is impossible to connect two visits to the same person.
What is shared outside
A few third-party services are involved, and most of them are located outside Quebec. Your information is handled there under their own policies:
- Square (Block, Inc., United States) — booking the free assessment.
- Amazon — when you click a product link, you leave this site. Amazon then sets its own cookies and applies its own policy. I am an Amazon Associate and earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no change to your price.
- YouTube (Google, United States) — only if you click the introduction video. As long as you don't start it, no data is sent to Google. Playback uses the no-tracking-cookie mode.
- Meta (Facebook, United States) — only if you click the Messenger button. You then leave this site for Messenger, where Meta’s own policy applies. Until you click, nothing is loaded or passed to Meta, and your conversation is kept in my Messenger inbox.
- GoDaddy (United States) — hosting. Like any host, it keeps connection logs containing IP addresses, for its own retention periods.
I do not sell, rent or trade any information about you.
The Prep app
The app is built to work with no account and no transmission: your kit, your family plan and your numbers stay on your device. Only a question you choose to send passes through my server, and it works like the form described above.
How long I keep it
- Email addresses of subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Traffic data: 24 months, then deleted.
- Emails you send me: kept in my mailbox for as long as the follow-up requires.
- Client engagement files are covered by the confidentiality agreement signed with each client.
Your rights
Quebec law gives you the right to know what information I hold about you, to obtain a copy, to have it corrected, to withdraw your consent at any time and to ask for its deletion. Write to me and I will answer within 30 days at most.
To unsubscribe from my emails, simply reply to any one of them.
If my answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Files containing email addresses are not reachable from the web, and I am the only person with access to them.
